I’ve been vocal about how much the blogging world has opened my eyes to pieces that I never would have thought of wearing before. I’ve gained more confidence from everybody’s feedback and have developed an understanding on what I can or can not wear.

I never thought that jumpsuits would fall in the former category, but Toni inspired me to wear this.

I decided to go for it now that I don’t have to take as many trips to the bathroom since giving birth. It’s actually quite comfortable, and I was genuinely surprised at how much I loved wearing it.

I have a newfound confidence that I can wear anything if I style it to fit my personality & body.

Well, maybe not . . . I don’t know if I can rock booty shorts.

What I Wore:

What do you think of jumpsuits? Would you wear them?

Someone wanted to show her most recent outfit to everybody. Daddy bought her a new hat at Janie & Jack recently, and she was more than happy to “model” it! She’s growing so fast and has developed a distinct personality. I love the fourth picture, so I had to include it! :)

When I become enamored by a certain print or color, I often look for items in that style. Usually, I don’t even have to look for it, I somehow manage to come across it easily.

I’ve always been a big fan of Asos. There have plenty of times when I’ve added items to my bag only to “x” out the window and never go back. When I saw this pair, I knew I had to get them.

Then I saw the “oui / non” belt, and I knew it was time to finally get something from the store. The package arrived yesterday, and I was really excited to wear the shoes to work. I already envisioned it with my polka dot pants just to be completely obnoxious by having TWO polka-dotted items.

Aren’t they adorable? I absolutely love them. The only problem I have is that the back rubs into my heel when I walk. I probably just need to break them in or wear band aids to protect my skin.

The belt is a great alternative to the Moschino belt that one can only find at vintage shops. I’ve been searching for the belt for the longest time, but every body that has it either (1) doesn’t want to let it go or (2) doesn’t even care about it and forgot that it’s in their possession. I doubt I’ll find it down here.

Oh wishful thinking! :)

What I Wore:

What print are you loving right now? Would you wear two items in one outfit?

When I cleaned out my closet with my nieces, the older one ended up taking all my dark washed jeans. She ended up with 10 pairs, but I didn’t mind because I’m just thankful that she’s not picky when it comes to hand-me-downs . . . but it left me without dark washed blue jeans.

If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ve noticed that I have a slight obsession with colored jeans. Because of that obsession, I always overlook blue jeans when I’m shopping at clothing stores.

It all changed when I saw this pair at Rue 21.

It was all by its lonesome in the clearance rack marked “take an additional 50% off.”

I especially love the distressed aspect of it near the pockets. It’s subtle and can easily be covered by a longer top if not going for that look. Its got an amazing stretch that allows you to put them on with no trouble but still hugs every curve in all the right places. I’m glad that I found it.

Baby Mia received her 2 month vaccinations. The actual shots weren’t so bad. She only cried during the second & third one and was immediately calm right after the last needle was removed.

A couple of hours after arriving home from the MD office, the one on the left started getting swollen, then it turned into a darker shade, then it felt hard, and every single movement of that leg caused her excruciating pain. She cried nonstop, and it was gut-wrenching because I couldn’t do anything to stop it. Then, she had a low grade 100.0 degree fever and would not eat.

She slept through the night for 8 hours because she was just so tired of crying. Today, she’s doing a lot better. Her fever is down to 99.2. She’s finishing 4 ounces all at once again, & she’s been doing her bicycle legs without any pain! I’m so happy to have happy Mia back!

 What I Wore:

Do you have a favorite pair of jeans? Where did you buy it? How much did it cost you?
