Shoes: Rue 21; Skirt & Top: Forever 21; Blazer: Cotton On

I’m not really much of a print mixer. It’s probably because it’s usually out of my comfort zone. I think I literally got dressed in the dark for this one. :) I actually like the way it came out . . . in a way.

This was the last time I wore this top because I put it in my “to give away” pile already. I sold a couple of things at the new Plato’s Closet that opened, but I think I’m just going to give everything else away via Goodwill or Salvation Army. My husband has the idea of me selling a few of my clothes online.

What do you guys think?

  1. I like this, the different shades of green work in an abstract kind of way. I’ve only tried simple print mixing, too afraid that it will go horribly wrong if I try anything intricate.

I personally don’t care for Plato’s Closet in terms of buying prices, but a “shop my closet” type of thing could definitely work.

    • I seriously thought that this had gone wrong, but after a while of staring at it, I kind of starting liking it in a weird way. LOL! I guess print mixing is just subjective and depends on the eye of the beholder. Haha!

I already sold them almost 30 pairs of shoes so far, but we’ll see what I’ll do next. I still have 30 pairs in my giveaway pile. I really want to start off fresh, so either way, I need to get rid of the shoes. :)

  2. Lovely skirt! The blazer is so nice with this outfit. Very pretty!

    Moustache scarf give away :)

  4. You did good for dressing in the dark!
I really like the print on the skirt — a wearable Franz Kline (an abstract expressionist painter from the 50s).
