I decided to keep it simple this Easter. My husband and I took Mia to church, which was too packed! We ended up having to stand in the cry room. I stand by the fact that I saw people sitting on the chairs who didn’t even have children! What’s the point of the ‘cry room’ if people don’t even have kids?
I decided to wear this simple white dress and just used the bag for the pop of color.
After church, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt party thrown by my sister’s co-worker, and of course, I changed into flip-flops since it’s an Easter egg hunt / pool party. While I enjoy wearing heels, I do know how to dress for the occasion. I may still be rocking a dress, but I know what footwear will be more appropriate.
Initially, Mia was not fond of her basket. I don’t think she knew what it was for at the time. She also doesn’t look very amused at the pool, but I think it was only because she couldn’t jump in with her cousin. She really loves water and wanted to dip her feet in there the whole time! In the last picture, she finally figured out what the basket was for, and was so excited when one of the bigger kids gave her his glitter covered egg. I don’t think he was too fond of it, but Mia absolutely loved it. It ended up being her favorite egg!
