My husband and I decided to have Mia sit in the main church instead of the cry room last Sunday. We thought we would try to see how she would react because she never really cried in the “cry room” and was more bothered by the kids that did. She did great! The only time she really made any noise was to sing with the choir which made me smile. Music makes her happy, whether she’s singing or being put to sleep.

I have been packing every once in a while for our trip, making sure I packed Mia’s luggage first. I work straight until the day before we leave, so I know that if I pack in a rush, I might forget something. Forgetting something wasn’t a big deal when it was just my husband and I, but now it’s important for us to bring everything that we need for Mia. I even have a double checklist.

Can you imagine being on the road in the middle of nowhere and realizing that we forgot something?!

  I’ve been enjoying layering, but now our temperatures are back up to the 80s, so I’m going to be going back to the skin baring looks again. LOL!
