I follow a lot of fashion blogs. I have favorites on my laptop, on my phone, on my ipad, and I always try to live vicariously through the people who actually make a living in the fashion world.
My looks have always revolved more on the wearability & comfort.
I usually have to think about Mia and what we’re going to be doing for the day when I get dressed. White is usually out of the question because of the “accidents” when she’s eating. In other words, when she decides to grab the spoon and flick the Gerber prunes or carrots at me.
I also used to wear a lot of skirts & dress before I gave birth, but now, I’ve gravitated more towards pants because it allows me to squat to pick her up, put her down, or help her walk.
One thing that’s stayed the same is my love for unexpected shoes. No matter what. I am drawn towards prints, colors, styles & designs that most people wouldn’t wear. I guess since comfort has taken over my clothing choices, I feel the need to make up for it in another area – the footwear.
I wore these heels to my nephew’s 3rd birthday party. I love every single detail! The faux horse tail in the heel, the stripes, the pointed toes, and the pseudo stitch on the inner part all make this one incredible pair!
